The Acharya Sabha, a group of several heads of Hindu mathas from many lineages, deliberated on a variety of topics of concern and interest to Hindus world-wide and in India in particular.<\/p>\n<p>The resolutions passed affirmed the Acharya Sabha&#8217;s positions on the Ram Setu bridge; global warming&#8217;s threat to Hinduism; the exploitation of holy Hindu temples and sites as touristic attractions; the need for experienced and professional management of temples by their own communities and a clear definition of who is a Hindu.
