At least eight were attacked Dakshina Kannada district alone, and three in Mangalore; and one person was stabbed.  In Kankanady, police prevented an attack and arrested three persons.<\/p>\n<p>Thousands of Christians took to the streets to protest against the attacks.<br \/>Eighteen persons, including 10 policemen and three women, were injured<br \/>in three incidents of stone throwing  two in Mangalore and one at<br \/>Madantyar in Belthangady.
