The safety concern became urgent after Perak Cave Temple security guard Yip Lum Choon, 55, was believed to have been killed following a rockfall at the cave.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, it wants temple committees operating from inside caves, or near them, to start checking for cracks. &#8220;If they find cracks, they must vacate the caves immediately and inform the state government,&#8221; said senior executive councillor Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to reporters here yesterday after the weekly exco meeting chaired by Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin, Ngeh said there would be a meeting with such temple committees soon.
