He is the personal confidante of Lord Rama, the major player in the Hindu text, the Ramayana.<\/p>\n<p>Trinidad and Tobago is considered Ramayana country in the Caribbean and in the world as a well.<\/p>\n<p>One of the landmark publications in Hindu theology is the Hanuman Chalisa (the sayings of Lord Hanuman) and it represents the fullest of devotion, sacrifice and dedication. <\/p>\n<p>There are scores of Lord Hanuman mandirs dotted across Trinidad and Tobago, where devotees revere Him as the living embodiment of Lord Rama Himself.
