{"id":8544,"date":"2009-12-10T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2009-12-10T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hinduismtoday.com\/hpi\/2009\/12\/10\/global-warming-is-not-our-fault-uk-people-say\/"},"modified":"2009-12-10T12:00:00","modified_gmt":"2009-12-10T12:00:00","slug":"global-warming-is-not-our-fault-uk-people-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hinduismtoday.com\/hpi\/2009\/12\/10\/global-warming-is-not-our-fault-uk-people-say\/","title":{"rendered":"Global Warming Is Not Our Fault, U.K. People Say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Source: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timesonline.co.uk\/tol\/news\/environment\/article6916648.ece\">www.timesonline.co.uk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>UNITED KINGDOM, November 11, 2009: Less than half the population believes that human activity is to blame for global warming, according to an exclusive poll for The Times.<\/p>\n<p>The revelation that ministers have failed in their campaign to persuade the public that the greenhouse effect is a serious threat requiring urgent action will make uncomfortable reading for the Government as it prepares for next month&#8217;s climate change summit in Copenhagen.<\/p>\n<p>Only 41 per cent accept as an established scientific fact that global warming is taking place and is largely man-made.
