But there are strong ties of similarities between the non-violent protests tactics of King and Mahatma Gandhi. &#8220;King was a teacher who saw great value in using the tactics of Mahatma Gandhi in overcoming the unjust laws of segregation,&#8221; said temple member Susketu Patel.
