{"id":9981,"date":"2011-03-28T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2011-03-28T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hinduismtoday.com\/hpi\/2011\/03\/28\/ayurveda-the-answer-to-healthcare-challenges\/"},"modified":"2011-03-28T12:00:00","modified_gmt":"2011-03-28T12:00:00","slug":"ayurveda-the-answer-to-healthcare-challenges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hinduismtoday.com\/hpi\/2011\/03\/28\/ayurveda-the-answer-to-healthcare-challenges\/","title":{"rendered":"Ayurveda the Answer to Healthcare Challenges?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BANGALORE, INDIA, March 17, 2011: Taking healthcare to the masses will be India&#8217;s biggest challenge in the next two decades, and the ancient medicinal system of ayurveda is the only reliable way of doing so, Sam Pitroda, adviser to the PM, said. &#8216;We can&#8217;t adopt the western model to deliver that to the masses,&#8217; he said at the inauguration of the Institute of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine (I-AIM) on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata inaugurated the 100-bed healthcare center that aims to integrate traditional medicine with modern health science.
