Annual Observances That Uplift the Family & Spiritualize the Household

Hinduism is a celebratory religion, and nowhere can this be seen more
clearly than in the yearly cycle of home festivals. In 1998, renowned Chennai artist S. Rajam sought to immortalize the sights, sounds and foods of the Saivite and Vaishnavite festivals of Tamil Nadu in 12 pieces of art, one falling in each month of the year by the Tamil calendar.
