NEW JERSEY, USA, December 2, 2024 (press release): Interfaith marriages are increasingly common in today’s interconnected world, bringing with them unique challenges that can deeply impact individuals, families, and communities. If these challenges are not addressed with respect and understanding, they can lead to long-term conflict and unhappiness. Recognizing this need, Hindu University of America is launching a new course titled “Interfaith Marriages: Challenges and Reconciliation,” aimed at fostering awareness and offering practical solutions for those navigating interfaith relationships.

Set to begin on January 13, 2025, this 11-week course will explore the dynamics of interfaith marriages, focusing specifically on relationships between individuals from Dharmic and Abrahamic traditions. It will examine the social implications of such unions and the challenges posed by rigid or intolerant religious practices. Taught by Dr. Dilip Amin, an expert with 19 years of experience guiding over 1,200 youths in interfaith relationships, the course draws on his extensive insights, documented in four acclaimed books.

This course is an invaluable resource for adults in interfaith relationships, parents, marriage consultants, and anyone interested in better understanding the cultural and spiritual complexities of interfaith marriages. Through this program, participants will gain tools and perspectives to promote reconciliation, harmony, and mutual respect in their personal and familial relationships.
