Bihar State Celebrates "Chhath Puja"

PATNA, BIHAR, INDIA: Hundreds of thousands of Hindus including the Chief Minister of Bihar, Mrs. Rabri Devi, offered worship to the Sun throughout Bihar yesterday. Devotees took a holy bath in the Ganga, Kosi or Gandak rivers and offered prayers and water to the setting Sun.
