"Out of Body-back in 30 minutes"
Seek the Infinite, for that alone is Joy unlimited, imperishable, unfailing, self-sustaining, unconditioned, timeless. When you have this joy, human life becomes a paradise; the light, the grace, the power, the perfections of that which is highest in your inner consciousness, appear in your everyday life. Swami Omkarananda

It is so refreshing to visit a spiritual site that doesn't condemn me to hell every second sentence. Samantha McGarry after visiting www.hinduismtoday.com
Professor Ramesh taught mathematics at the University. He was smart and intelligent and wouldn't accept anything without reasoning. But his wife, Shila, was a great devotee, deeply dedicated to Lord Krishna.
One day, early in the morning, Shila said, "Let's go to the temple."
"Why? What is there in the temple?"
"God!"
"But how does your God come to be confined to temples and the idols therein?"
"I really don't know; but I feel His presence there."
The same day, late in the evening, Ramesh called his daughter, Rani and began to teach her math. He wrote down the sign of Infinity and said: "See, Rani, this is Infinity."
"But, Papa, how does Infinity come to be so finite, so small?"
"My child! Don't confuse Infinity with the sign of Infinity. This is not Infinity; this is only a sign or symbol of Infinity."
"But why can't we do without it?"
"Because Infinity is too abstract to comprehend. We always need some adequate symbols which may remind us of the abstract truths related to them."
Just then, the temple bells rang.

A miser, a devotee and a priest are all meeting together to discuss how they give money to the temple. The devotee says, "I draw a line, toss up some money in the air, and whatever lands on my side I keep, and what lands on the other side I give to the temple." The priest says, "I draw a circle, and whatever money lands in the circle, God gets to keep." The miser says, "I throw all the money up in the air, and God can keep whatever he catches."

I used to believe in reincarnation, but that was long ago, in another life. Dave Schinbeckler.
This body is a world, a universe just like the one outside, and that is why great beings all say to look there, inside. If you look outside of yourself, you won't find anything. But what is it that has its eternal source in God? Certainly not the body. The scriptures talk of the angustha purusha (thumb-sized body) which dwells in the heart. Within it are contained all the stored desires and deeds of the individual soul. Swami Prakashananda
All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.

Tirukural 70: The son's duty to his father is to make the world ask, "by what great austerities did he merit such a son?"
DID YOU KNOW?
AUM GANESHA
The Sanskrit syllable Aum is the first among Hindu mantras, used in conjunction with every other prayer. Mystically, this sound can be heard as the sound of one's own nerve system. Meditators and mystics hear it daily, like the sound made by a swarm of bees or a thousand vinas playing in the distance. Hearing it, one draws near to God consciousness. The Aum, is especially associated with Lord Ganesha, representing Him as the primal sound. Artists often depicted His very body as the shape of the mystic sound. .
